I am a student researcher at Kyungpook National University, where I spearheaded the development of the world's first moisture powered flexible carbon capture technology: a “self-rechargeable thin-film supercapacitor that adsorbs carbon dioxide,” leveraging moisture-induced electricity generation. This groundbreaking technology integrates a thin-film supercapacitor to spontaneously form an electric double layer, capturing carbon dioxide.
With this project, I was awarded one of the top awards at the 2023 Korea Science & Engineering Fair, and my project was selected as one of the three projects from my country to represent South Korea at the 2024 European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS).
