The Future of Optics: Liquid Lenses

Independently developed a prototype of a liquid crystalline lens, which is a next-generation optical technology where a conventional glass lens is replaced by a liquid lens that changes shape with electrical signals or pressure changes to alter the focal length and focus with ease.

Novel Self-Rechargeable Thin-Film Supercapacitor that Adsorbs Carbon Dioxide

Independently developed a “novel self-rechargeable thin-film supercapacitor that adsorbs carbon dioxide,” which utilizes a relatively new renewable technology, moisture induced electricity generation, in the structure of a thin-film supercapacitor, where an electric double layer is spontaneously developed, to capture carbon dioxide as a by-product of electricity generation.

Designing a novel hydrogel patch that colorimetrically detects muscle activity and fatigue

A low-cost, freestanding, disposable, and non-invasive muscle fatigue detection patch is especially crucial for medical and sports applications. Current technology includes complex nano-engineered electronic patches, which are difficult to produce and relatively expensive. Herein, a novel patch fabricated in a relatively simple method, is presented.
